Sailing: 11 challengers + defender

This is the last of the Luis Vuitton regatas, before the championship moves on to the Luis Vuitton Cup - the final selection of the challenger for the defender Alinghi. It will be four days of intense action with all the teams sailing together. A lot can change now, with all the points tripled, comparing to the previous Acts. This is also the last chance to see Alinghi until the 32nd America's Cup itself, as the defender does not take part in the Luis Vuitton Cup.

Round Robin 1: 16 Apr - 22 Apr (20 and 23 Apr - Reserve Days)

Round Robin 2: 25 Apr - 6 May (7 May - Reserve Day)

Sailing: 11 challengers

Each robin is a set of duels, where each challenger will face each other challenger team. In the end, out of 11 challengers only 4 will carry on to the semi-finals.

Semi-Finals: 14-16 May, 18-20 May, 22-24 May (21, 25 May - Reserve Days)

Sailing: 4 challengers

The top scoring of 4 challenger will choose one of the other 3 as his opponent. The other two teams will also pair up. Each day both pairs will have one race. The first one to score 5 races in each pair (best of nine) wins. So it can be anywhere from 5 days to 9 days.

Finals: 1-3 Jun, 5-6 Jun, 8-11 Jun (7,12 Jun - Reserve Days)

Sailing: 2 challengers

Once again, a best-of-nine between the two remaining challengers, with one race every day. It can be five days (5-0) or up to nine days (5-4)

Finally, the winner of the Luis Vuitton Cup will face Alinghi in 32nd America's Cup - with one race every day, until one team scores 5 races.

First Five Races: 23, 24, 26, 27, 29 Jun

If 5 races have not been scored, aditional days for a best of nine:

Additional Days: 30 Jun, 1, 3,4 Jul

5, 6, 7 Jul - Reserve Days.
