Going to the movies in Valencia usually costs around 6€ with the exception of IVAC that has lower prices. Showing usually starts at 4-5pm and the last show would be at around 11pm. On Fri and Sat the last show is at around 1am.

17 Pz del Ayntamento 96 353 93 00 website PA Map	Instituto Valenciano de Cinematografia shows strictly independent cinema productions from all over Europe, plus projects of Valencian film-makers. Many of the films are from the past decades, real vintage. Daily. See programme
ARAGON	Babel - Art Cinema in Valencia
10 Vicente Sancho Tello 96 362 67 95 website PA Map	Babel shows a mixture of more prominent european cinema and some holywood productions (those that just clear into the "arty" category). Original version - i.e. in the native language with spanish subtitles. See programme
ARAGON	Albatros - Art Cinema in Valencia
4 Fray Luis Colomer 96 393 26 77 website PA Map	Albatros is the sister cinema of Babel and shows a similar kind of programme. They do try to not show the same films at the same time. See programme

Cinema

For a usual Holywood programme, there are a fair few cinemas in Valencia, like in any large city. Here are just the most convenient options.

Be aware that all moview get dubbed. In some countries you have the luxury of seeing the movie in English while the native audience struggles with subtitles. Here, however, you will need to know Spanish or try to percieve the plot non-verbally.

North West	UCG Cine Cité - Cinema in Valencia
16 Tirso de Molina	Cine Cite is a favourite cinema for many in Valencia. They are sure to have the biggest choice of the latest movies at any moment and a couple of them will usually be in English with Spanish subtitles (look fo V.O.S. in the programme - "Version Original Subtitulada"). Very comfortable viewing situated in a lesiure centre near the Nuevo Centro - a nice place to have a snack before or after as well. Not too far from the centre and you can catch a metro too.
CENTRO	Lys - Cinema in Valencia
3 Paseo Ruzafa	Lys is convenient because it is very central - just off Plaza de Ayutamento. A good selection of latest movies. Since it is very central, new releases may sell out so don't come at the last moment.
