Yagura is a hard one to work out. Officially it is a Japanese restaurant, a conveyor belt buffet, where the food moves past you and you pick whatever you want, all you can eat at an excellent price. However, the choice is not too elaborate: varieties of sushi, sashimi, makki and such come down to two or three. There are also various soups, grills, ribs, rices, noodles, salads, deep fries, dumplings, etc, but these are why Yagura has been called by some a "Japanified Chinese". Yet, if you are not too picky on your sushi and are happy with just salmon and tuna in a few different ways, then this is an unbelievable bargain, a great way to go for unlimited Oriental tapas. The main attraction here is the conveyor belt - it is very handy when you are stuffing yourself. That said, however, Osaka 2 has a conveyor belt too and their food is by far more authentic Japanese. |
