There are a couple of other Brazilian (or semi- so) restaurants in Valencia, but only O Rey da Caipirinha takes it to the full experience. Run by a family from Sao Paolo, this is a very friendly place where you will receive a very warm welcome and feel at home. Many of the Brazilian regional varieties have been brought together onto one menu, giving you the best flavours of that country. O Rey de Caipirinha may not be the cheapest but what you are paying for is definitely authentic and of a high standard. The place itself is also filled with the spirit of Brazil - there is a huge tropical dining-hall with football themes and palms, and a welcoming bar where you can mingle with Brazilians sipping caipirinha. The family will also do a gigantic Brazilian churrasco (grill feast with lots of side dishes) for groups - minimum 5 people, at 23€ per person. This place is definitely not just a restaurant - the open-hearted attention of the owners turns it into a social event.
