One of the most authentic tapas bars in Valencia, this place has been going for 25 years under the hand of Victor, its owner, who likes it to be "the little Casablanca of Valencia". This is a genuinely Valencian spot that doesn't get many foreigners. For years it has been a meeting place for the bohemia and intelligencia of Valencia, having seen various artists, actors, musicians, politicians, writers, etc of this city. "Every chair here has a name and a surname" says Victor. The warm wooden wine cellar interior is complemented with heartily prepared gourmet tapas, from traditional to more adventurous, and a huge range of wines. The tapas here do feel homemade and prepared with love. Unfortunately Victor is not here that often any more to greet you but the place still has all the welcome and sophistication to give you a classy experience.
