Parks and Gardens of Valencia

Valencia is a very green city. Wherever you go you will pass a little green square, a green alley, or just a random spectacular row of palms. Valencians love their green and are known for it. It is all over the city. Here we list the most notable / accessible parks - beyond such luxurious options there is no need to list every little green square.

Glorieta - Park / Garden in Valencia

Glorieta is a fairly small triangle by a busy roundabout so it is not really worth going out of your way to see it. However, if you do pass by you will be impressed by those incredible trees, good many meters in diameter. A warm atmospheric vibe in a balmy mediterranean evening.

Jardin de Ayora - Park / Garden in Valencia

Jardin de Ayora is a small-ish cosy garden with a pretty central mini-castle lost in a quiet neighourhood of Valencia. There isn't much going on but it is perfect for some tranquility or for reading a book. Only of interest, really, if you live in the area - i.e. if you are a student. In the summer it also hosts some of the events of Feria de Julio.
