Entertainment and Activities in America's Cup Port

Apart from the usual leisure of bars, restaurants and promenades, the America's Cup Port has plenty of competition-related installations to bring you the full experience of America's Cup. They are generally of two kinds. The first is stuff to see - educational installation about the history, technology and design of America's Cup. The second is stuff to do - you can try various activities that let you have a taste of what America's Cup is about, from simple tying of sea knots to being a member on an America's Cup yacht. The stuff to do usually comes up during the competition times only, when the Port is heaving with its intended activity. The stuff to see is on display all the time.

The list here is not comrehesive, just the best of. There will be plenty more stalls, art and activities.

Note: the paper maps given out in the America's Cup Port contain a close-up map of the Leisure Park area, with detail and numbers that don't appear on the overall online map on the America's Cup Website. Here we publish the number marks that appear on the paper maps.

Two-wheelers - Fun Stuff to See and Do in the America's Cup Port

Electric Two-Wheelers

The future is here. During the 32nd America's Cup you can try out a vehicle which is sure to replace the bicycles in the not so distant future as a clean "pedestrian transport". This compact two-wheeled platform with a steering bar cobines minimal electric energy with gravity forces to develop considerable speed. You just need to lean and it moves through the change in gravity centre. There will be a small polygon where you can have a go, and you can also participate in an hour-long guided tour of the America's Cup Port where you won't only become adept at controlling these things, but also find out a lot about the America's Cup and the Port.
