Hawaika - a tropical cocktail bar, also serving tropical ice-creams and fresh juices. The drawback is the segmentation into cabins - not very sociable. Closes early - this is the place to get those vitamins before alcohol poisoning.

Café Oficina - a sophisticated, classy pub with a jazzy soundtrack and a mature mellow crowd. One to savour in small sips

Voodoo Lounge - a popular but relaxing spacious place to ease your way into the night. Lively mixed age crowd drowns the lounge music in the banter. Arty décor, pool table, music video screen, internet.

Contraste - a tranquil, arty cocktail bar with modern designs and a more mature crowd

Chinaski Rock Bar - an anarchic underground rock hangout covered in graffitti and soaked in smoke. Young alternative crowd and cheap drinks. Small and always busy.

Café L’Espill - a small, arty bohemian hangout with dim lights, a bookshelf, curious characters and an unorthodox selection of music.

Tango y Truco - a lively bohemian hangout with a profoundly Argentine theme. Quirky vibe, strange music and curious characters.

Pub Manhattan - a purely Latino place with all the rhythms. Unfortunately, not often too busy.

El Loco - a huge personality in Valencia. Very dynamic venue with at least two live concerts / events a week and a refined selection of funky music at other times. Cosmopolitan, more sophisticated crowd.

Pacagarse - a small, ultra-trendy disco-bar with the latest house music and fashinonable crowd.

Anubis - a disco-bar with an Egyptian theme, putting on a live Brazilian band every weekend until late. Unfortunately, not appreciated by many, but it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it!

Skopas - a disco-bar with a Greek theme

Caliente 2 - sometimes it’s hot sometimes it’s cold. The latest selection of Hispanic hits. A wild, friendly place on a good night and not worth it on a bad one.

Haboob - more baseball caps and hoods in this one, a popular meeting point with a more off the mainstream funky house.

Cayo Largo - a disco-bar for a more mature public (30s-40s). Latino music and pop (from as far back as the 80s). Amazing catacomb décor. Crazy people.

Maruja Limon - a typically Spanish and very popular disco-bar with heavy commercial house served to the mixed age crowd of local weekenders.

Senilla Negra - a small, cosy late-night chill-out bar.

Musampa - a totally unpredictable place. Sometimes full, sometimes empty, sometimes dragging pachanga, sometimes pumping techno, sometimes torturing a karaoke. Check it out.

Morbo - more of a late-night pub / bar for a more mature Valencian public.

Jocker - more of a traditional Spanish pop / rock bar where a few regulars drink and play darts instead of dancing

Ceniza - A busy, traditionally Spanish disco-bar with a mainly young crowd. Mainstream music: pop, commercial dance, Hispanic, etc.

Peatonal - a street within a street covered in graffitti caricatures of celebrities. Typically Spanish late night bar for an easy drink.

Chevere!! - a small but charismatic dancing space with a latino soundtrack. Explosive and spicy fun.

Havana-Valencia - the late night-club of Juan Llorens, gathering all of the survivors of the night until 7 am. Latino, commercial dance, pop. Gets very full.

Sioux Bar - A quirky cosmopolitan Wild West themed pub, perfect for a chat with a stranger. Very welcoming and vibrant.

Cafe Carioca - an old veteral of the nightlife scene, with a perfect formula for a night out. Eclectic pop and a cosmopolitan crowd. Very popular - the most famous name in Juan Llorens.

Akuarela Pub - a very popular with the locals large mainstream disco-bar packed with trendy, mainly young, weekenders dancing to a mixture of Spanish and international pop.

Musical - an exceptionally good funky house mix by the resident DJ makes it a popular place where the crowd goes totally ecstatic on the dance floor.
