Valencia
is famous throughout Spain for its nightlife (and this is
saying something!). They say people here party from Monday
to Sunday. However, nightlife here is specific and if you
come with an open-mind and dont expect Valencian nightlife
to be the same as nightlife in your city, you will surely
enjoy a new cultural experience as well as an excellent night
out.
Nightlife is spread over several zones, each with their own
character. It is not centralised, so have a good look at which
one appeals to you.

- The Alternative / Bohemian Nightlife
Carmen is nightlife in the Old Town - multi-cultural, diverse,
bohemian and alternative. They say there is a bit of everything
here, whatever your taste.
CENTRO - Close to Carmen
Carmen is not everything - there are other good places which
were not lucky enough to get into Carmen. And they are just
a short walk.
CANOVAS
- The Mainstream Corner
Canovas is the vibrant mainstream weekend hub of Valencia,
a large range of bars and clubs which some prefer to Carmen.
JUAN
LLORENS - The Trendy Corner
A compact string of bars and clubs, Juan Llorens is slightly
more mature than Canovas, with a trendy crowd and more Latino
vibes
PLAYA
- The Beach / Port Nightlife
In the summers many take advantage of the weather. The beach
/ port area comes alive with bars and luxurious open-air nightclubs.
OUTSKIRTS - Biggest
Clubs
If youprefer to spend a whole night in one big good-quality
night-club, then you should take a taxi to the outskirts of
the city where the biggest and the heaviest are.
