You will definitely have been told that this is the only place to go in Carmen. It is an annoying, Lonely Planet style mass advice, there are many good places in Carmen. But Radio City is very good, and deserves to be in the top list. There is always a good party with excellent unconventional music. The crowd is a very eclectic, international mix and everyone always goes wild. It is the Babylon of Valencia. Two in one: a fairly large dance floor and a pub area for drinks. Radio City is down-to-earth and could be a little more pretty but the extra-tolerant and explosive vibe makes up for that. The place also has a packed programme of cultural events, e.g. film, flamenco, cafe-theatre, art and special music nights. |
